NATURAL FEATURES, LAND USE AND OTHER PHYSICAL DATA

Situation analysis focuses on the locality’s natural features, land use and other physical data. These data are
presented in graphic format in terms of analytical or thematic maps which are useful in the analysis and evaluation
of spatial data base and serve as inputs in the formulation of the land use plan.

A. Data Gathering/Collection and Presentation

The first activity in land use plan formulation is the collection of baseline data of existing natural and physical
features of the locality.

The data requirements for the natural features, land use and other physical data are shown in the recommended table
forms.
