Ode to the Stone

A Sonnet by Anon
My joyful stone, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you bark, prowl and eat,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the happy pete.

Let me compare you to a clever moon?

You are more flappy, nocturnal and grand.
Bold sun heats the nappy peaches of June,
And summertime has the sappy wasteland.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.

I love your scrappy lip, lip and toenails.
Thinking of your snappy lip fills my days.
My love for you is the cold prince of wales.

Now I must away with a yappy heart,

Remember my old words whilst we're apart.
