TECHNICAL ASPECT
GENERAL OVERVIEW
As a service entity, our product will be produced by editing the raw videos into final
output that will be delivered to the clients same as printing the photos captured during
our client’s event. The outputs of our services can be edited and produced for a duration
of approximately:
Photos: 1 week maximum time
Videos: 2 weeks maximum time

The products will be produced in the editing area of our office. There will be at least
2 editing computers for us to maximize our delivery time to the clients. Cameras will be
used to capture photos and videos while editing computers will be used to edit them into
a final output. After the editing process, our product/s will be packaged into a
personalized wooden usb flashdrive containing the edited photos and videos of our
client inside a personalized box together with their printed photos and a “thank you”
letter to our clients.
Major technological development that may affect the feasibility of your study may
vary. If we’re in the city like Manila or in other country like US, new released cameras
would affect the feasibility of our study, but residing here in the province and knowing
the capacities of studios here in our region, we think that technological developments on
cameras wouldn’t affect the feasibility of our study anymore because the camera
equipments we are planning to have are high-standard enough to reach the quality
expectation of customers here in our region even in the next 5 yrs.
PRODUCT/SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Reel Stories mainly consist of processes that captures moving images on
electronic media (e.g., videotape, direct to disk recording or solid state storage) and
even streaming media. The term includes methods of video production and post-
production. It could be considered the video equivalent of cinematography (moving
images recorded on a film stock). Reel Stories aims to provide potential clients both
videography and photography services that comes in packages to cover the important
events of their lives and produce an output that the clients can keep and preserved.
Investing in a video and photography is a great idea for anyone who wants to
watch their special day unfold. That being said, they vary a lot in price. Photographers
and videographers break down the different levels of what they can offer into various
price categories. Things like the length of time they will attend your wedding, the quality
of production you desire, the amount of editing required and the number of
videographers who will cover the said event will all define each package.
As mentioned, Reel stories will offer a series of packages that will be categorized
based on the prices alongside with the services included. They are presented as

The following are the key components or elements that will be used in providing the
services of Reel Stories:
1. Camera Equipments
Since Reel Stories is a photo and video service provider, the most
essential tool in our operations is camera alongside with other camera
equipments such as Lens, Camera Bag, Memory Card, Tripod, Filters,
Flash and extra batteries. As a competitive photo and service provider, we
will be using high-end camera and lenses like that of sony’s products with
the industry’s latest features that can accommodate quality photo and
videos even in the next 5 years or more.
2. Audio Equipments
Audio equipment refers to devices that reproduce, record, or process

sound. This includes microphones, radio receivers, AV receivers, CD
players, tape recorders, amplifiers, mixing consoles, effects units, and
loudspeakers. This is also another essential tool in the operations of Reel
stories.
3. Projector
A projector or image projector is an optical device that projects an

image (or moving images) onto a surface, commonly a projection screen.
Most projectors create an image by shining a light through a small
transparent lens, but some newer types of projectors can project the
image directly, by using lasers. A virtual retinal display, or retinal projector,
is a projector that projects an image directly on the retina instead of using
an external projection screen. Projectors will be used by Reel Stories in
the presentation of their same-day edit videos.
4. Computer Sets
This will be composed of high-performance computer components packed

into one that will help in maximizing the editing and render time of Reel
Stories to increase the pace of delivery time.
5. Service Car
Reel stories will acquire a service car that will be used for the convenience
of operations particularly in the transportation of personnel and equipment
for out of town events or those with different settings.
6. Videographers/Photographers
These are the personnel responsible for capturing photos and filming
videos that could be used for a variety of projects such as weddings,
debuts, or christenings. They shoot, develop, and capture important
moments, sporting events, and other action. They work full- and part-time
hours during flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, depending
on when events are scheduled to take place.
7. Assistant Videographers/Photographers
Assists the main videographers/photographers in capturing photos and

filming videos that could be used for a variety of projects such as
weddings, debuts, or christenings. They also help them carry the
equipment that will be used in the event.
8. Office Employees
This includes the Editors, Front Desk Agent / Receptionist, Accountant,

Utility Personnel and Security Guards. These are the main personnel designated
at the main office.
Aside from the capital contribution of Reel Stories’ partners, another way to
finance their operations is through bank loans. The aforementioned raw materials are
readily available since they can be purchased at any malls or stores nationwide.
If the customers wish to have their special occasion covered with a price fit for
their budget associated with high quality services, they may contact us at our respective
email address/phone number or they can visit our social media platforms for any
inquiries. They can also visit us at our office located at __________ or meet with any of
Reel Stories’ partners to personally book their event. It is through these steps that they
can knot a tie with the videography services that we offer.
CAPACITY, PROCESS AND SCHEDULE

CAPACITY
Reel Stories is video coverage business that offers photography and

videography services to a wide range of users. Reel Stories incorporate both automated
and manual processes in the business. The business intends to automate the booking
of video coverage services down to its payment and manually letting the customers
choose what package they want and the actual footage itself. Reel Stories will operate
on an 8 hour basis based on the Labor Code of the Philippines yet subject to overtime
with pay if situation permits.
Reel Stories unlike other businesses requires a much smaller space for its
operations. Reel Stories will only utilize its building for operations like storing of cameras
and other video capturing devices, meeting up and closing deals for video coverage
services, keeping its administrative, financial and other business related records. Even if
Reel Stories has a high degree of market share, it is not controlling that its plant size
shall be big also.
Reel Stories will not be confronted with too much effect of technology trends.
Most probably the effect will be on the cameras that will be using to conform to the trend
in the market and to capture better life events. Other technology based equipment like
computers will not that much require high conformance to the trend in technology.
Since Reel Stories is inclined on giving off services basically it does not require
too much production facilities. Reel Stories bulk of operations will focus on services and
thus requires more people to do the job. Reel Stories will unlike other businesses like
manufacturing requires not so complicated production processes and production
facilities. Reel Stories will only be using cameras for capturing life events and
computers or even laptops to edit the captured events.

The process will start when a potential client visits the office for inquiry about the
video and photography service that the business offers, the package prices for the
event, as well as the details regarding the availability of the date. The client could also
contact the office through telephone or social media page like Facebook and Instagram.
Reservation Process
Upon reservation, the client is required to pay a non-refundable down payment of
fifty percent (50%) of the contract price and sign a contract. In case of phone call or
page reservation, the client will be asked to visit the office or meet up with any of the
business’ partners after depositing the said down payment.
Settlement of Balance
After the event, the client is required to pay the balance of the contract price.
Delivery of Final Output

The editing period of the photos and video outputs will take a duration of one to
two weeks following the event. Once the said outputs are ready, the client can claim it at
the office or they can opt to avail the business’ delivery service with additional fee.
Reel Stories offers services to a wide range of customers and it will start of
course through booking by customers with the Reel Stories of its desired package of
video coverage. Prior to booking the customer and Reel Stories must have come to a
common agreement as to what package of service be desired by the customer which in
turn be offered by Reel Stories. A contract of services will also be made after having
agreed to the terms of service be provided. After pre service engagement come now the
actual coverage of events which will take like an hours down to its editing. And after
which the payment by customers to Reel Stories and the handing over of the output but
Reel Stories to its customers.
Unlike manufacturing and merchandising types of businesses, Reel Stories

focuses on giving off services thus has a high manpower requirement. Its manpower is
its most valued resource that needs to be managed well. Reel Stories will be employing
workers based on the manpower requirement of the business. Basically it will be hiring
more employees to cater all customer video coverage engagements simultaneously to
eradicate back logs of service.
