Process: Before a product is shipped, it is wrapped in the warehouse. If
special shipment is needed, the secretary has to collect offers from three different logistics services and decide which one to take. After they have come to a decision, an order can be placed to the service and the warehouse prepares the product for pickup. If no special shipment is needed, the warehouse prepares the product for standard mail order. However, additional insurance might be needed. If this is the case, the secretary takes care of it while preparing the item for mail order. Afterwards, the warehouse can prepare the product for pickup.
Background: The process happens at a small provider of computer
hardware selling articles to end consumers as well as to retailers.
