9. Show 2 organic and 2 geometric shapes


Two organic shapes are cubs, spheres, pyramids, and cones. Two geometric shapes are
squares and triangles.

10. Show the following color schemes:


Primary- Red, Yellow, and Blue.
Secondary- Orange, Green, and Violet/Purple.
Intermediate/Tertiary- Red-Orange, Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Green, Blue-Green,
Blue-Violet, and Red-Violet. These are formed by mixing primary colors with secondary.
Complimentary- Red-Green, Yellow-Purple, and Blue-Orange.
Analogous- Red and Orange.
Monochromatic- White, and Black.
Warm- Red, Orange, Yellow, and variations of those colors.
Cool- Green, Blue, Purple, and variation of those colors.

11. Make a value scale with 4 values


a. What are tints?
Tints are light values you mix to make a color with white.
b. What are shades?
Shades are a range from the lightest to darkest.

12. Show 3 types of texture


The three types of texture are actual, simulated, and/or abstract. It’s an illusion that
appears; for example smooth, rough that may look like you can feel it or you can’t.

13. Demonstrate 2 ways to show space/depth with a circle and a triangle.


You shade to show the top of a cube as a medium value. Creating an illusion with space by
placing one figure behind another.
