Description Perkins is pleased to announce the introduction of the new 1500
series range of 8.8 liter, 6 cylinder engines. Available for use in 50
and 60 Hz applications, the 1500 Series meets the needs of the EP
market at key power nodes between 200kVA and 330kVA in both
Standby and Prime applications.
Features/Benefits
• Key Standby/Prime power nodes, 330/300kVA, 300/275kVA,
275/250kVA, 250/230kVA and 220/200kVA with switchability
between 50Hz and 60Hz ratings.

• High ambient temperature and altitude capability.

• Best in class fuel consumption.

• Improved load acceptance (meets ISO 8528-5, G2 criteria).

Availability to • All 1500 series ElectropaK ratings are available to order
December 1, 2014.
“Ex Works”
• Approximate “Ex Works” availability schedule from firm order
to factory despatch is as follow.
– January 2015 : 12 weeks*

– February 2015 : 12 weeks*

– March 2015 : 12 weeks*

– April 2015 and onwards: 4 weeks*

*Holidays and shutdowns are not counted in weekly availability.

General Comments • This product replaces both the Perkins 1300 and 1600 Series
engines which will be phased-out over the coming months.
• ElectropaK cooling pack will be supplied ship loose only, to be
installed by OEMs into generating set base frame.
• EU Stage II equivalent emission ratings are available on
limited ratings upon request.
• This ElectropaK can be sold in Canada as stationary engine.
