3. Nationality. Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad
Kashmir / Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon final selection candidates with dual
nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistan

50% marks in FA/ FSc and equivalent.
(4) Verification of Marks Sheet / Certificate.
1. Candidates not issued with certificates or in possession of
duplicate/revised mark sheets/certificates of Matric /
Intermediate / BA / BSc must get a Verification Certificate signed
by Secretary/Controller Examination of concerned
Board/University.
(5) ‘A’level
‘A’ level candidates applying in Pakistan with aggregate 60%
marks are eligible without seeking equivalence certificate as
calculated by IBCC. However, all the candidates who have passed
‘A’ level and equivalent examination from abroad or have passed
from Pakistan with the result less than three Cs are required to
submit equivalence
certificate issued by IBCC.

2. Ineligibility Conditions
1. A candidate is ineligible if he is twice rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ
Selection Board or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by
GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.
2. Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board.
3. Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by
Appeal Medical Board.
4. Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by

6. Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (cannot request for

How To Join Pak Army As A Commission Officer
1-Online registration
(For online registration visit the website

2-Intial online test date is decided by online registration server.

There are two parts in selection procedure
1- Initial or Preliminary selection.
2- ISSB
Here i will only discuss initial part of selection;
Initial part consists of different type of test including

4. Initial Interview.
Once you clear all these test will undergo for ISSB.
1- COMPUTERISED TEST
This test consists of 3 sections:

3. One set of attested photocopies of above mentioned documents.
4. 3 x Passport size coloured photos duly attested (front and back) by
Principal/Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
5. Original as well as one photocopy of “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter by
ISSB are also required for “Repeater Candidates”.

Initial medical test is simple, they will just check your

Majority students have caring angle and flat feet problem.
Test Format
Online preliminary selection test have the following two parts;

Part-1: In this part, verbal and non-verbal questions are asked. You have to
answer 66 verbal and 96 non-verbal questions. Only 60 minute are given for
answering the question.

1) HOW TO FIND 50 %
Divide that number by 2
E.g 90 so 50% of 90 is 90/2 = 45
2) FOR 25%
Divide that number by 4
So 25% of 90 become 90/4 =22.5
3) FOR 10%
Simple method is go to left side for
one digit like

and so on
4) FOR 5%
Divide 10% of number by 2
E.g 10% of 90 is 9 so divide 9/2 =

Divide that number by 2

E.g 90 so 50% of 90 is 90/2 = 45

Divide that number by 4

So 25% of 90 become 90/4 =22.5

Simple method is go to left side for

one digit like
