Against the Sale of Counterfeited Goods over the Internet

1. Reference:
a. Memo received from Chief PIDMU with same subject as above dated
June 1, 2020.

2. In connection with the above reference, this station believed that the
MOU against the Sale of Counterfeited Goods over Internet is a positive
reinforcement to protect the right of individual consumer. However, the
legal system of the Philippines has provided measures on the matter
thereof; the MOU may have been a product in good faith, nevertheless,
what we need as stakeholders and concerned agencies is basically
upholding the rule of law.
