ORGANIZING A PARTY

 We have to choose/determine date, time, place, theme, guest list, if there will
be party games or prizes or gifts.
 Write and send out invitations to guests (card style, approximately, two weeks
before the party and collect RSVPs)
 Settle on/decide food and beverages. Recipes in class.
 A list of what supplies we need for the party: tables, chairs, tablecloths, plates,
cups, napkings, decorations,
 Do the shopping for food and decorations
 Make a budget and decide how much each guest will pay
 Take pictures
 Decorations: streamers, balloons, confetti, partyware sets, Christmas
decorations.
 Music: background music, choose mood/tone we want to set for the party. Carol
singing: choose the carols to learn
 Special requests: if we want people to wear something special
 Post party activities: narrating party, thank you notes.
 Divide responsibilitiesgroups of people: to do the shopping, to collect RSVPs, to
prepare room with decorations, tables for food and beverages, do the cleaning
after party.
