This product is a price leader, the product provides more languages for a slightly higher
price. Although the product does cost a little more than its competitors, it does have
better technology and offers more languages to translate in.
With these earbuds you are getting forty languages with ninety- three different accents
for $200, instead of the more common price of $180 for fifteen to thirty different
languages.
The company makes their earbuds more money because they know if someone is
traveling or in an international setting their earbuds will most likely have the language or
languages needed to communicate with the people around them
Promotion
The commercials that WT2 has been involved in are on youtube. Youtube is an
ever growing platform to find anything, including a translator earbud. The ads
themselves are used in two different target markets, business professionals and
travelers, and you can see this by how the ads are shown. This company is
addressing the interest phase of the market funnel with targeted ads.
You see people of different races hiking together and hear their language
difference but they understand each other just fine.
Business meetings are also used as an example because of the ease of
translation shown to you, allowing for international meetings without actually
having to have a designated translator. This also gets rid of the breaks between
people trying to talk to each other.

Plans for the future
The product has a 93% accuracy when it comes to translations, for future products
this accuracy should be increased to make communication in other languages
better. Some customers stated the services were hard to use, the company would
make changes to their app and program to make the experience easier.
With so many different languages being spoken in countries they could potentially
add more languages that are more unknown, so when a traveler comes across
people speaking these languages they can still communicate.
For those just wanting to learn a language they could come out with a simpler
earbud that has less languages and it cheaper but still offers the same services.
Recommendations
We recommend that the company makes the program work more effectively and
make it easier for consumers to navigate through the app. Some also stated there
was a delay in the translations so this could so be improved at this point.
We also recommend making a cheaper version of the earbud for those who still
want to communicate with others in a different language but aren’t traveling, and
don’t want to spend so much money on so many languages they won’t use.
