Original Poetry: Frosted Day

The frosted snowflakes fall down from the sky.

Birds chirping and the sun shining up high.

Reflections bouncing and the snow glowing.

Rivers moving with water slowly and flowing.

Upon the snowy big hill sits a boy.

Who is singing and dancing with most of joy?

He watches over as the snow starts to melt.

He looks over and watches the snow go away.

He also watches as the day passes away.

Water draining from every direction.

Families inside their homes warm and in protection.

The day gets warmer and the snow goes away.

Kids get out of their homes and come outside to play.

When night comes, the kids go back inside.

From playing all day they went back in to dry.

The kids came home to their parents.

At midnight they went up on the terrace.

The boy on the hill didn’t go away.

He went on to watch the kids another day.
