Final project - formative feedback

Chris
Context & Research This is developing well and gives a strong sense of what you
are producing. Consider the order in which you present the
evidence to show a logical chronology through the project.

Make sure you define any terminology you are using such as
analogous, complementary and monochromatic.

You could do more to pin down a) the structure, codes and

conventions of an advert (or clothing advert) and b) a
streetwear ad in particular…..What kind of shots? Breakdown
a couple of adverts in terms of cinematography.

Draw conclusions from your research – what has your primary

research told you? How will you use your skate video
research?

All this will feed into your conclusion at the bottom of the
page 😊
Problem solving You are evidencing the decisions you are making within your
commentary on each page, rather than a separate blog. While
this is fine, make sure you do justify all your decisions – see
my comments re your research.

Planning, production & Think about the most logical way to present your planning –
practical skills show us your journey through the project. Don’t forget that
justifying locations is a really important part of your mise-en-
scene. You have not fully developed your idea on this page
yet.

Good evidence here of practical skills, in particular your tests

and practical response. Detailed reflections, with reasoned
decision making (so now make sure you apply this level of
development & critical reflection to your planning)
Evaluation and reflection See problem solving comments above.

Presentation Good start – on your planning page you can justify colours
schemes etc but also discuss early designs and how the
presentation ideas developed.
