EQUALITY
We use AS + ADJECTIVE + AS to compare
things, places or people that are similar in some
way or quality.

Look at this example: Paul is 18 years old. John is 18 years old, too.
ELEM 1. TO BE TANTO ADJECTIVE QUANTO ELEM. 2
PAUL IS AS YOUNG AS JOHN .
JOHN IS AS YOUNG AS PAUL .

a) Compare your classmates. Use the adjectives: tall, fast, funny, responsible.

When we compare people, things or places that are not similar, we use NOT before TO BE.
Example: Mary is 19 years old. Jane is 15 years old. In this case, you have to pay attention
in the order of the elements that you are comparing or the meaning could not be true.
MARY IS NOT AS YOUNG AS JANE.
JANE ISN´T AS OLD AS MARY

b) Compare your classmates. Use the adjectives: young, tall, lazy, organized.

c) Fill in the   comparing the elements.
