Untitled Surreal Mystery Film

Logline: A WWII veteran arrives in Hollywood in late-1945 and finds out his girlfriend has been
killed. The man takes it upon himself to solve his girlfriends murder. Dark, twisted, and equally
romantic.

*Dream sequence a la Twin Peaks: He sees his girlfriend outside the entrance of a circus at night and
follows her in. He then delves deeper and deeper into the circus and finds he cannot leave. All the rides
are working. All the performers are performing to no one. Weird make-up performers. Women with
beards. Strong men, etc. *Insert a shot of the man coming face to face with the German Expressionist
picture you love.
