Gates of the fortress and Museum in the old town of Little Jerusalem. Only one kind

On May 16, 1916 St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral was visited by Russian
Emperor Nicholas II with his royal family.

The Juma-Jami is the largest mosque of Crimea and was founded by Khan Devlet I
Giray in 1552. The Khan commissioned Istanbul architect Mimar Sinan (1489–1588) to
build the mosque.
Juma-Jami is the only multi-dome construction in Europe. The name "Juma" means
"Friday", this day is especially revered by Muslims.

This is not just a separate religious institution, but a whole complex of two kenas, a
school, a dining room and even an Inn. All of them are eclectic: Byzantine and neo-Gothic
motifs intertwined in the buildings, to which Moorish style was added.
At the entrance to the kenassa, you can see a triumphal arch with smooth columns,
and the arch decorated with a portico of triangular shape, which is distinguished by the
elegance of stucco. In the courtyard on the left is the same fountain. Before entering the
temple itself, the believer must pass through several courtyards — so he will have time to
feel the solemn atmosphere and tune in to prayer.
