Phase- In/Phase-Out Plan

The Medium Tractor Products (MTP) Product Group is pleased to announce the Phase-out/Phase-in
program for the D8T manufactured in East Peoria, United States and the D8T manufactured in
Piracicaba, Brazil for the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico Regions.

Phase-In/Phase-Out Plans
Firm and un-cancelable orders for the D8T model from Piracicaba, Brazil are due by 30 September
2010. These orders should include dealer shipment demand from through and including 31 January
2011 shipment requirements. Piracicaba will accommodate changes to these orders within normal
order change guidelines where possible, but within constraints of material availability.
Please make certain your demand requirements are covered through this period. Shipments of D8T
machines from East Peoria to Caribbean, Central America and Mexico Regions will begin in
February 2011.

Lane 1 Orders. In order to continue to support shipments of Lane 1 D8T machines, East Peoria will
build and store Lane 1 D8T machines for Caribbean, Central America and Mexico Dealers in the
East Peoria PDC. Lane 1 D8T machines from the East Peoria PDC will be allocated to dealers
through the normal ADSD-S Lane 1 Allocation Process. Initial Lane 1 D8T machines will be
available from the East Peoria PDC starting in February 2011.
