Zero waste living is a growing movement that encourages the three Rs: reduce,
reuse and recycle. We can apply this process in our laboratory by living a zero-
waste lifestyle entails optimizing recycling, reducing waste, and selecting items
that can be reused or composted. Living a waste-free lifestyle has obvious
environmental benefits, but it's also a cost-effective option, as using recycled
goods rather than disposable ones can save you money over time.
