NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE VIRTUAL CULMINATION OF THE

NATIONAL READING MONTH 2020

Reading is essential to each individual to explore and to learn more. In

giving the importance of reading, Bagong Silang Elementary School joined the
National Celebration of the Annual National Reading Month Activities for the
whole month of November with the theme “In this pandemic time, let’s make
Reading our daily chime”. Read, Create, Lead, Innovate.

The virtual culmination program was hosted by Ms. Nova Mae Panong ,
Grade1 and 2 adviser. It started with an invocation and national anthem
through audio visual presentation followed by the opening remarks by Mrs
Marichie Blanco Grade 3 and 4 advisers. she said that everyone is a reader,
some just haven’t found their favorite book yet so we teacher should
encourage pupils to find your favorite books to read then try explore another
books. The Reading Coordinator, Mr Kenneth Jay Bagando invited a Pupil
storyteller to read stories and nursery rhymes through online.
The virtual program ended successfully which shows the commitment to
provide quality education among its learners through developing their holistic
needs and honing their maximum potentials to build versatile and responsive
citizens.
