Click anywhere on Page 3

-Goto Layout
-Goto page break
-Select "next page" under "Section Breaks"
-Goto to insert
-Goto page number
-Select type of page number you want to insert
-Click on page 3 anyywhere
-Goto insert
-goto page number
-from the drop down, select "format page numbers"
-on the new window, select "start at" and type 1
-To remove numbering from the first two pages, goto page three of the document
the page number should be "1", double click on the "1"
-on the top, look for the option that says "Navigation"; click "Link to previous"
(it should be highlighted by default)
-after clicking , the "link to previous" will no longer be highlighted
-click anywhere on second page (thats needs to be without page numbers"
-goto insert
-goto page numbers
-from the drop down, select remove page numbers, the first 2 pages are now without
page numbers
-navigate to the page where the normal numbering is to be started
-click anywhere on that page
-goto layout
-goto breaks
-select "next page" under section breaks
-the page numbering will automatically start from 1, it might be in the roman
numerals format. if so,
-double click on the page number "1" which is in roman format and needs to be
changed to normal format,
-goto insert
-goto page numbers
-from the drop down select format and set required format
