Said DIG Yousaf, while giving us interview. Explaining his point he said that “We Police officers are not allowed to interfere in the politicians’ activities, whether they are legal or illegal”. When I was on the post of DPO I had arrested MNA Bakhar’s son on the basis of illegal activities, in 2014. On taking this action PM made a committee against it. Afterall clarifications of every investigation, MNA’s son got arrested. Furthermore, he said “We police officers have to abey the politicians in any case”. In 2013, when I was SSP vigilance, asked to sign on the fake report of the PTI jalsa, held in Lahore. I denied to sign on it. The report was about the strength of the people in the jalsa that was actual 3,40000 while in fake report it was 80,000. So, I didn’t sign the report. On the result my promotion was cancelled by CM. Eventually, I got promoted “SSP” by the board for promotion in 2015. But, CM asked PM to cancel the promotion through PM’s secretory. Because of political interference my promotion got cancel 3 times by the board of promotion. So, I consulted to Supreme Court on this matter. Finally, after the wait of 6 months hearing I got promoted to DIG. Currently he is the DGO (Director General Overseas) of Punjab.
