This is to inform that in pursuance of the online meeting held on 28th March 2021, there were
certain decisions taken concerning to the recent COVID-19 situation with special focus on Lahore
region.

The participants of the meeting were Chairman Superior Group, Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdul Rehman,
Rector Superior University, Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Registrar, Dean CS&IT and Deputy
Director QEC. The following points were decided in the meeting:

• In order to ensure the health and safety of the faculty members, students and staff, the
Superior University will remain closed from 29th March 2021 to 11th April 2021, however,
faculty members will continue to deliver online classes from their homes.
• The quality assurance of the online classes will be the primary responsibility of the faculty
members. Though, Deans/ HODs/ Program Leaders will be liable to ensure the compliance
of the quality mechanisms in the online classes.
• The University will reopen on 12th April 2021 subject to the Government directives.

You all are requested to disseminate the above to faculty members, students and staff of your
respective departments.
