1.Discuss the issue in this case?
The issue in this case is about a theft in a mill that is caught red handed by
the watch man of the mill. The watchman of the industry caught a menial
employee of the mill engaged in stealing. It shows unethical behaviour of
employee to the organisation. I also shows that the HR while recruiting
employee has not enquire about the past records of the employee that is
if he is engaged in any type of the crime in past years also the industry
must not providing necessary remuneration that is needed by the
employee of the organization to maintain his bread and butter so the
employee is engaged in such cheap act. The employee is not loyal to the
organisation.
Merit:
i) He try to convenience the security that he has not committed any type
of misconduct to as per company code.
ii) He also try to make his argument strong by saying the motor that he
was carrying was not working and it was defective piece.
iii) He try to conceal the truth from the security officer and present a
clean image of himself in front of the security by saying that he has done
this type of activity in past also.
(II) The HR recruit the employee with out doing home work in search for
dearer employee with out enquiring about the character of the person
with out knowing their past history and past criminal record etc.
(III) After the fulfilling of these two requirement there is a little chance
that the employee is engaged in unethical practice and be only possible if
he not loyal to organisation.
(IV) Most of the unethical practice in the industry is due to the non
fulfilling of basic need of employee by their remuneration.
(Vi) The newly recruit employee should given enough time to perform and
adjusted with the new environment and the employee should not be
apprised suddenly .
