DrawFM Manual v2

DrawFM is a simple FM synthesizer with a focus on drawing both carrier and

modulator waveforms. With a variety of controls such as modulator envelope
time, amplitude envelopes and vibrato DrawFM provides a multitude of sound
design options in a compact package. Supports up to 8 voices of polyphony.

1. Carrier waveform selection. Sine, Saw, Triangle and Draw.

2. When “Draw” waveform is selected, use this space to draw the wave.
3. Save the current drawn waveform or load in a waveform. (.wav format.)
4. Amplitude envelope controls for signal Attack and Release. From 0 ms to 2 s.
5. Control of the Speed and Amount of pitch modulation.
6. Modulator waveform selection. Sine, Saw, Triangle and Draw.
7. Envelope shape of FM depth. Drag dots to reposition shape. Displays X and Y values.
8. Click to enter Envelope Edit mode. Click on the space will now create envelope points
for shaping.
9. Coarse FM amount. Increases the FM amount by 0.5.
10. Fine FM amount. Increases the FM amount by a smaller grain.
11. FM Envelope time in milliseconds. From 10 ms to 10 s.
12. Total up sample amount. From 0 to x8. Note, higher values will cause large CPU load.
13. Slider for total output gain.
14. Preset bank. Click to load and click+shift to save.
