EDU4ILT - Introduction to Language Teaching

Task 2 –Peer assessment of microteaching of a language lesson

Teacher: This assessment will take place during and following your microteaching for Task 2.
Each of your ‘class’ members (your peers) needs to fill out one of these peer assessments of
your microteaching. The marks awarded DO NOT FORM PART OF YOUR GRADE. They are for
you to use for your review of your microteaching in the Workbook.

Class member: In deciding whether to award a higher or lower mark, you should pay
attention to the parts of the criterion that are in bold. You need to consider not just ‘do I see
it?’, but ‘how clearly and consistently do I see it?’. You may award ‘0’ if you consider it
appropriate. Comments should be constructive.
