By way of introduction I want to mention that Chisinau 

has a lot of interesting

places such as museums, historical and architectural monuments, theaters and
temples, parks and rivers.

From my point of view the most beautiful building in our country is the Cathedral
of Christ's Nativity, which is a pure example of elegance, royalty and eternity.

The Cathedral of Christ's Nativity is a true masterpiece of Neoclassicism, situated

right in the center of the city. It was built in the 19th century according to the
project created by the architect Abraham Melnikov. Also, this building became one
of the best examples of Russian architecture in our country. During World War II,
the cathedral suffered several damages, but it was restored very fast.

The Cathedral is surrounded by Arch of victory and Central Park. The main

entrance of the church has a magnificent dome and six high columns around it. At
the same time, we are astonished by a colorfully decorated inner, characteristic of
the orthodox religion. Inside you will find some of the most beautifully
designed elements. The church’s interior leave every of us breathless. The
light from its beautifully windows, the overall quiet, serenity, and cleanliness of
the building, provide a peaceful ambiance.
Until now, it is a symbolic place for the Christians who come to pray here, bless the
dishes during Easter and meet the Holy Fire.

Across the square there are hundreds of pigeons that walk and fly. This is another
beauty of this place.
