TOOLS FOR COMMUNICATION: QUANTIFIERS

-> Quantifiers are expressions we use to indicate quantity;

-> There are quantifiers for countable nouns: many / few


(indicates a not sufficient quantity) / a few (indicates a sufficient
quantity)

-> There are quantifiers for uncountable nouns: much / little


(indicates a not sufficient quantity) / a little (indicates a sufficient
quantity)

-> There are also neutral quantifiers that work for countable and
uncountable nouns: some (affirmative) / any (negative/interrogative
sentences) / a lot of (informal) / lots of (informal) / tons of (informal)
