Late issue graduation because focuses on organization

Assertion
● Completing lectures is not as easy as many people think. Many students also
graduate late. Ideally, a student to graduate from undergraduate only takes 4 years
or 8 semesters. However, it is not uncommon for many to graduate late on time.
● Being a caretaker of a student organization (Ormawa) on campus is a challenge for a
student while studying in college. Some feel that engaging in student activities will
hamper their study process which can reduce the quality of learning.Students who
are involved in organizations have the responsibility of managing assignments that
involve the name of the campus they are carrying, which is very important to maintain
the credibility of their work.
● Organizational tasks that involve responsibility, critical thinking and make a big
contribution to the benefit of the organizers or even the name of the university they
carry, it have a lot of burdens that consume a lot of energy and time, therefore many
students have less time to complete their college assignments, and also the meeting
time they have cut their study time, this extra work is what causes many students to
graduate late.

Reasoning
● why this motion is the only way? and how the motion solve the problem?
● 1. Organization is not about personal development,by join organization, students will
be responsible for the name of the campus they bring
○ events that are owned or managed by an organization require large funds and
drag the name of the campus in the implementation,
○ if the event is bad then it will affect the name of the campus so that the
position of students who are active in organizations is very important
● 2. organization overcomes distracted
○ Indeed, if an organization doesn’t make a college student depends in his or
her studies, it will make that particular student quite distracted from them.
○ The very nature of college organizations is that they are social, which means
that students could go down the road of spending too much time with friends
rather than studying to talk about organization project or doing their school
work.
● 3. the organization charged energy and time from student
○ Indeed, in organizations, students will learn to manage their time well, but the
natural situation of many organizational tasks and very narrow deadlines
requires them to sacrifice their time so that they will quickly get tired and find
it difficult to follow academic lectures.
○ In research conducted by Darisman Solihin in 2019, it was found that 60% of
students felt that the organization interfered with their study time and made
them easily tired and resulted in burnout, thereby reducing their quality in
attending academic lectures.

● The organization is an association that has a purpose, and students who register to
be part of this have a responsibility to maintain the credibility of the trust and
performance that has been given to them.
● Aside from the busyness that the student receives, it is actually a responsibility and
here the role of the student must be able to balance his time with what he has
chosen, namely the academic side and the non-academic side.
● the organization itself provides many benefits that greatly support the success of the
students themselves

● why i dont disagree to this motion
● 1. the organization provides soft skills learning
○ an organization created to help students achieve their goals while they study
for academics
○ By joining an organization, students will learn to balance academic and non-
academic positions where they will learn public speaking to express their
opinions or aspirations, learn time management which will help them to
balance academic and non-academic achievements, develop relationships
that will be very useful for the future they

information comes at student at increasingly faster speed, rrecognize
relevance by allows student to collect information and put in order according
to its relevance, and help student to keep upgrading information.
● 2. the organization will provide a sense of pride for the students themselves
○ students who join the organization will feel proud of their own achievements,
and will form a spirit of support, contribution and enthusiasm for collaboration
○ Of course this will be different from students who do not follow the
organization, in passive students do not form a spirit of desire for
collaboration, contribution and support because they never feel like working in
a team to achieve common goals but they only focus on achieving for
themselves
