student who finishes the task on time in order for them to be motivated to finish the
task right away.
 Satiation- In order to stop Nancy from whining, the teacher may allow him to
continue performing the undesired act until she tires of it. While, the teacher
still reminding her that she need to get the task finished.

SURFACE MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUE


 Interest Boosting- The teacher should make the discussion more interesting to
the class so that Nancy will be motivated to work by herself.
 Redirecting- In order for Nancy to be reminded and refocus herself after
whining during seatwork time.
