Statement of the problem

The study intends to evaluate the level of instructional leadership/administrative

management competence of junior high school principals in the Division of Camarines Sur.

Specifically, it sought answers to the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the junior high school principals in terms of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Sex

1.3 Civil Status

1.4 Actual Designation

1.5 Length of Service as Junior High School Principal

1.6 Educational Attainment

2. What is the junior high school principal’s level of instructional leadership/administrative

competence as evaluated by the teachers and school heads themselves?

3. Do the teachers and junior high school principals significantly differ in their perceptions

of the school heads’ instructional leadership/administrative management competence?

4. How do the junior high school principals enhance their instructional

leadership/administrative management competence?

5. Are the junior high school principal’s level of instructional leadership/administrative

management competence are significantly correlated with their profile?
