Welcome to Guadalajara, The Pearl of the West,

you'll never forget. Known as the land of
mariachis and tequila, Guadalajara is rich in
history and traditions. It is the cultural center
of western Mexico and the second most
important cultural center in the country. One
of the most important places is the Hospicio
Cabañas, a World Heritage Site. Other
monuments create a subtle essence of
province: the big towers of the cathedral and
the countless fountains rejoice the avenues,
where the Theatre Degollado host living history
and music.
