A lot of this shit is true.

“FIRE”

3
3
Teddy is in prison, lying in his bunk, wondering how he got
there, why he got there, and how long he’ll be there.

4
4
They burnt up a guy on Teddys’ first night in prison.

5
5
BIGMAN, otherwise known as firestarter, stops at
Teddy’s bunk and tells Teddy to get smart. You see,
Teddy is a noted martial artist and BIGMAN has some plans
to make some money. Teddy just wants to lay low and get
the hell outta there. BIGMAN goes over and pisses on the
flaming creature just before the guards burst in.

When Teddy (Ted) was a kid, a bunch of bigger kids beat him and robbed him
of his grassmoney, money he made by mowing lawns. He was the neighborhood
man. GRASSMAN!

7
7
Teddy found a way to defend himself and went to Joe Hess’ place to become the
next Bruce Lee. He’s close.
He got pretty good.
Little Jimmy Smalls.
Little Jimmy Smalls, a local ‘business man’ saw
Teddy fight and hired him, part time ‘bodyguard’.
Jimmy liked the ‘class’ he brought to his entourage.
It also showed Teddy life he didn’t know was
happening ...

9
9
…and that was CARLA.
A couple of Jimmy’s other guys, Patrick and Bobby
from the old neighborhood in Brooklyn, resented
Ted big time. They waited for opportunity to mess
the ‘pretty boy’ up.

There was a Vegas trip coming. Full of opportunity.

In prison, Ted resists BIGMAN’s efforts to make him fight. The
continued mayhem of prison begins to weigh on him. Then a
situation develops...

13
13
The GERMAN ran the prison yard. He was the target of BIGMAN who
wanted Ted to fight. Ted has resisted until this time. The
German comes over to Ted and taunts him about the two guys he
wasted in the shower. The German insults Ted and his mother. That’s
it. Fight’s on.
Ted kicks ass and is the titular king of the yard.

“FLY LIKE AN EAGLE”

17
17
Little Jimmy Smalls loved to go to Vegas in Elvis’ jet.

18
18
On the trip to Vegas, Patrick messed up a young girl
that Teddy was ‘protecting.’ He messed her up until
she was dead. They could cover it up easily, since
no one ever knew she was there. Teddy knew.
Patrick tried to ‘off’ Teddy but Teddy was too quick.
Too smart, and too tough. Patrick wound up being a
splat after ‘falling’ from the casino roof.
The girl on the plane reminded Teddy of his sister. She came to him to
borrow money one night. An emergency. She disappeared. Her body was found
in a dumpster. Bad abortion. She was fifteen.

“DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD”
Prison mess. Everyone is eating the slop. A couple of kitchen
guys are dumping a container of new slop into the serving
area. One of the guys screams. BIGMAN’s head is in the slop.
The warden suspects that Ted was part of this and slams him
into solitary. In solitary, Ted thinks back of his times with
Carla. He had come to the realization that she is out of his
league and he couldn’t afford her lifestyle.

24
24
Ted’s older brother Tony comes to the rescue, getting
Ted a job ‘delivering cars’…but not exactly. Ted now
has enough money to hang with Carla. Love is blind.
He is blind.

25
25
Later, Tony comes up with a bigger idea that Ted feels is dangerous.
Carla visits Ted in prison but is treated badly by the guards.
Ted is enraged but powerless.
Carla meets with a mysterious person in a mysterious place.
The warden meets with Ted and Carla. He is beyond contrite and friendly. He leaves
them alone for a version of a conjugal visit.
Ted meets with Golden, a hot lawyer. Things have changed.
Ted’s outta here soon.
The German is stabbed to death by some of the remaining BIGMAN
gang. Ted is distraught at the death of his friend.
4
“THAT’S WHY THEY CALL IT DOPE”
At an earlier time, Bobby Vega sets Ted up for a fall. He has Ted
drive a truck full of grass to a location and it’s a setup. Ted
is arrested and Alex, a bad cop, abuses Ted in the police
station.
Jimmy comes to the rescue with great lawyers. The judge throws everything out at a preliminary hearing
citing police misconduct and he trashes the DA and the chief for screwing the case.
They don’t care. The DA parties with some ‘evidence’
and the cute assistant DA. There are no good guys.
5
“ONE, IF BY LAND, TWO, IF BY SEA”
Coke replaced weed. More profits (for both sides).

38
38
Little Jimmy Smalls had to teach a couple of guys how to swim, unsuccessfully,
including Bobby Vega.

39
39
When things finally went wrong, they went wrong.
Biggest drug bust in history. They’re all going
down, including Ted. This time it sticks.
Extracurricular.
6
“BACK TO THE FUTURE”
Alex, the bad cop who fucked Teddy over, got his
in a strange way. He abused a hooker and she shot
him in a violent and funny way. The story became a
legend in the force.

44
44
The fucker deserved it.

45
45
Time has gone by, and Carla has pulled strings
with Little Jimmy’s help and Ted is waiting
outside the prison gates. A pink limo arrives.

The limo is parked on the side of a backroad.

The driver is outside smoking, waiting.

A Champagne bottle is tossed out a window.

Tony, Carla, and Ted are sitting in a Hatteras yacht. They
tell him that it’s theirs. Carla shows Ted the money.
Ted visits Little Jimmy in prison. Jimmy reveals that he helped Carla
and Tony establish their ‘business.’ Little Jimmy and Ted share their
affection for each other, but Jimmy’s there and won’t get out.
Ted meets with Hess and Hess tries to set Ted
straight. Teddy gives Joe Hess some shit and they
fight.
7
“THINGS AIN’T WHAT THEY USED TO BE”

50
50
Little Jimmy commits suicide in prison.

51
51
Ted tells Carla he doesn’t want to be in
business and they must split.
Teddy went straight. Fought. Fought. Fought.

54
54
Las Vegas. World Championships. They’re all there to
watch. Carla and her new boyfriend, Joe Hess, Tony…

“Carla”
Carla is a lissome, attractive, sensual, alluring, charming, elegant, graceful, dynamic,
forceful, winsome, stylish, provocative, intelligent, perceptive, courageous,
imaginative, cultured, sublime…
No one knows, but they want to know, the thugs, the FBI, the CIA, the DEA, the local cops (and robbers).

Castro
Papa

Carla’s father fights with Castro through the revolution and is a hero at The Bay Of Pigs. They are as close as Castro and Che.
Her father dies and Carla’s mother remarries a drunken
lout that beats her. When the guy tries to rape Carla, she
kills him, stabbing him in his eye. Carla is twelve.
Carla has her father’s patriotic passion for Cuba and joins Castro’s famous Women’s Brigade.
Back in Cuba, a war hero(ine) like her father, Castro has a new task for her.

“The Beauty Parlor”

The FBI guy is questioning the CIA guy about ‘stuff,’ including attempted
assassinations of Castro.
They speak of the Kennedys trying to get it done.
…and the Mafia.
This specific one is about the plan to use one of Fidel’s ex lovers to get the job
done. He has the reputation of having an insatiable sexual appetite.
The idea is to kill him with an untraceable poison. The
explanation would be that he had a seizure or a heart attack
during sex. The problem is that Castro knows of the plot.
He tells his former lover and then offers her a gun to do the job
appropriately, with courage. After all, she served in Angola with Carla.
The FBI and the CIA agents discuss the result, that was
Castro and the woman making mad love.
The woman opened an extremely lucrative beauty shop in Spanish
Harlem. There is some rumor that she is the largest dealer in the
neighborhood.
Money well spent?
More to come (maybe).
