I was asked to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mitchell

Burdick as a professional and character reference. My relationship with Mitchell has
encompassed the last couple of years and has evolved in many capacities. Mitchell
and I worked together in a Principal-Sub/Premier Substitute role during our last year
of pandemic learning and he was an integral member of my school community.

While at Dwight E. Beach Middle School, Mitchell served as the jack-of-all-

trades. His substitute assignment changed on a daily basis, and he was pulled as
needed to cover classes. This is an incredibly hard role and one in which Mitchell
handled with grace and professionalism. Our staff and students felt strongly that
Mitchell was an important part of our staff and they respected him as such. He could
easily cover an Algebra course then transition into to covering an elective. He was
timely, dependable, and just a great all-around person.

I value flexibility, team dynamics and the ability to be a lead learner amongst
my team. Mitchell, during his years in our building, showed promise of all of the
above. His calm personality and outside the box thinking were valued. His ability to
problem solve technology issues and lack of lesson plans was valued as well as my
daily chats with him were valued.

To put it simply… he is an excellent candidate and worthy of a strong look. If
