RESPECT IS HAVING A REGARD FOR OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR

LIVES; IT IS SHOWING THOSE AROUND US COMPASSION AND
EMPATHY. FAIR PLAY IS A VIRTUE OF RULE ADHERENCE WHERE
BY PLAYERS AND ATHLETES ABIDE BY THE RULES OF
COMPETITION.

Why is respect & fair play so

important in sports
AN ATHLETE SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE RESPECT FOR THEIR
OPPONENT BECAUSE THAT OPPONENT HAS WORKED JUST AS HARD
AS YOU HAVE AND WANTS TO BE TREATED WELL. Fair play can teach
people tolerance and respect for others. It allows them to
integrate into society and create a sense of teamwork
