THEO BROKE HIS ARM

Gorjan – the doctor
Theo – himself (the boy with the broken arm)
Nenad – himself (Theo’s friend)
Lina – Theo’s mum
Jovana – Nenad’s mum
Kaya – Bully (karate kid)

Intro: One lovely Sunday in the park, kids were playing on the playground, some kids were jumping on
the trampoline, some were swinging and others were running around. Mums were enjoying the
beautiful weather.

Theo: Hi, Nenad. I didn’t know you’ll come in the park today. Let’s play together.

Nenad: Hey man, nice to see you. Let’s play! Let’s jump on the trampoline!

Theo’s mum: Don’t jump too high boys. You don’t wanna fall from there.

Nenad’s mum: Oh, nice to see you Lina. Wanna get some coffee?

Theo’s mum: Sure Jovana, we’ll have a nice chat while the boys are playing.

Theo: Oh this is greaaaaaat, I feel like I’m flying.

Nenad: Jump jump jump

Bully: Hey you, why don’t you go somewhere else to play. I wanna jump too.

Theo: You can jump with us.

Bully: I don’t wanna jump with you, go somewhere else.

Nenad: You go somewhere else, we like it here.

Bully: You kids talk too much. I will show you now who’s the boss here!

Theo (crying): Ouch, mum, mum, help!

Nenad: Theo, are you ok? Let me help you get up.

Theo’s mum: Oh no, what happened? Are you ok son?

Theo: I can’t move my arm, it hurts so bad.

Nenad: That bully pushed Theo and he fell off the trampoline.
Nenad’s mum: Hurry, let’s go to the hospital. I’ll drive.

10 minutes later

Doctor: Hello. What happened to you boy, why are you crying?

Theo: I fell on my arm doctor.

Theo’s mum: Doctor, I’m afraid it’s broken.

Doctor: Don’t worry, we’ll make an X-ray and see if the bone is broken.

10 minutes later

Doctor: I’m afraid the arm is broken. Don’t be scared, we’ll fix it and put it in an arm cast. In a month,
you will come again to remove the cast and your arm will be as good as new.

Theo’s mum: Oh, thank you doctor. See Theo, everything will be ok.

Doctor: Come Theo, let’s fix that arm.

After 30 minutes, Theo comes out from the doctor’s office with a smile on his face.
