The memory is presented in both of the poem at end of each poem.

For Blackberry-picking, the


memory is presented in the sentence “each year I hoped they’d keep” which to tell about the
author’s memory that he remembered each year. For poem “piano” the memory is shown in
the sentence “The glamour of childish is upon me” which means the memory of the author Is
being remembered again.

Both of the poem blackberry-picking and piano has some similarities like the rhyme pattern.
The rhyme pattern in blackberry-picking is shown at line 14 and 15. “Covered and burned” both
of the word have “ed” which can creates same ending sound when it is read by the author.
Both of the poem also tell

There are so many differences that we can found from both of the poem, In “Piano”, It has
more same syllables rather than the “Blackberry-picking” which only use 5 sentence that has
the same syllables on it. Besides that, “piano” use the first point of view which talks about
himself, different from the other poem “Blackberry-picking” use second point of view which
maybe the author writes it for his friend to tell about the memory that they pass through.

In conclusion, the memories are presented in both of the poem which both has a sad meaning.
There are some similarities and differences from both of the poem. But, It has more differences
rather than similarities.
