FINANCES IN PERU

Peru is a very rich country in terms of resources. So the economy in Peru has been
improving in recent years. However, the cost of living is high. The standard salary of a
Peruvian is not enough to cover their basic needs. Most people have low standard of
living. They live with a low salary, work more than 8 hours per day and don´t have social
benefits.
Most people cannot afford to buy a house. The banks don't lend money if someone don't
have a historical credit. The Credit card charges are high. But Peruvians would rather buy
with their credit cards. That's why many people take out a loan end up in debt.
There is a huge between the rich and the poor. Rich people rich are made up by
politicians, bankers, businessmen. They control the economy in Peru. They are They are
the owners of supermarkets, pharmacies, large hotel chains and restaurants.
In conclusion, Peru is one of the countries with the most natural resources in Latin
America but its people and its government prefer to sell their raw materials to foreign
countries instead of starting their own businesses, generating employment for their
people and improving the quality of life of Peruvians.
