Maths Admissions tests

A brief introduction:

- More and more courses are using admissions tests

- Most are taken on the same day in November
o STEP is taken in June; no multiple choice section, so no questions on
this sheet. It is used for Cambridge Maths, but also possibly Imperial
Warwick, and some colleges at Cambridge may use it e.g. Engineering
- It is your responsibility to find out which tests you need and ask the school
to enter you.
- Examples included here are from
o TMUA (Maths at Durham, Warwick, ComSci at Cambridge)
o MAT (Maths and CompSci at Oxford; Maths at Imperial) – also has a
long-response section
o Cambridge NatSci
o PAT (Oxford Physics)
o Cambridge Engineering
