Rep.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s speech reflects the Aristotelian style of rhetoric because she

uses appropriate means of persuasion in a given situation to bring harmony and justice to

women, and educate morality to men, without criticizing the entirety of men, bias, and

manipulating the truth for personal gain. She focuses primarily on what women like her

experiences in their day to day lives and how some men verbally abuse them at some point. She

doesn’t talk about empowering women or how they should deal with verbal abuse, but rather, she

speaks up about her experiences on how several men treated her poorly, and use this idea to

encourage others not to tolerate such instances and instead, they should stand up for themselves.
