Good day Sir Arago,

I just wanted to say thank you for giving me another opportunity to be able to pass the remaining
requirements for your course subject. I apologize for being inconvenient, for you emailing me personally
about my missing activities even though that should be the student’s concern.

I have only read your emails yesterday, on the afternoon of January 14, 2021 because currently where
I’m at, internet connection is unstable and sometimes there’s none.

Due to unforeseen events that occur in the past couple of months, I haven’t actually done the task until
recently. Last November, my grandfather had a stroke and therefore has to undergo medical operation
to remove the bloodclot in his brain. He was partially paralyzed on the left side of his body, but
thankfully, to this day he is still recovering and was able to move now by himself. On December, the
company where my father work at in Saudi Arabia has received the Covid 19. The virus spread among 14
employees, and my father was one of the unlucky one’s who contacted it. He was bedridden for two
weeks, unable to work and communicate with us. Thankfully though, he was rushed to a private hospital
and the company where he worked at paid for the medical bills. He was able to recover and survive the
virus and can now return working. Last week, the house in Makati where I resided has reached its due
date and was redeemed (natubos) by the owner. We have to pack our things and leave, and unpack
once again. As of now, I’m at Kalamba, Laguna and as I’ve said earlier, the internet connection here is
very poor and slow and sometimes unresponsive.

The reason I’m telling you all this is for me to clear my name and reputation, and not be tagged as tardy
or lazy or unresponsive or uncompetitive. I’m telling you this give valid reasons as to why I wasn’t able to
respond and submit my requirements on time. The emotional stress, worry, and fatigue caused by the
events that happened in my life recently hinders me from doing the tasks.

Just a short notice, I have now finished my Midterm Paper and was able to submit it in Uvle, ready for
checking, together with Journal Entry 5 which has been made already last December and was just
waiting for me to submit together with the other requirements.
