Our group has designed 3 separate products all based off of the design philosophies of the Coca

Cola Company. These 3 products are, respectably: “The Coca Cola liquor”, “Milk Coca Cola(for

kids)”, and “The Snack Bottle”.

The Coca Cola Liquor:

Based On the infamous origin of the Coca Cola Company as an alcohol-related company. This

product is meant to capture the essence of danger and alcoholism, meant to convey a feeling of

rebellion and masculinity in the consumer. These product takes

advantage of Coca Cola’s History and when combined with

effective marketing, it can really sell the fact that Coca Cola is

returning back to its roots. The color theme will be that of rustic

themes, again, to convey the feeling of rebellion.

The Shape of the product is that similar to a liquor barrel

used to ferment and store beer or other liquors. The size however is

decreased dramatically from the inspiration to the point where

someone can hold it easily. As for the manufacturing process for the

container, we will use injection molding, but not the cheap-feeling,

bad-quality molding, for our process, we shall seek procedures to

minimize the seam lines in order to convey a high-end feel.

The Milk Coca Cola(for kids)

This product is on the opposite spectrum from the Coca Cola Liquor. It is meant for kids!

Since our first product is solely made for adults past the drinking-age, we figure our second product

ought to be more family-friendly.

The design of the product is reminiscent of the iconic Coca Cola Bottle. However, the features

are heavily abstracted and emphasized, making for more dynamic curves and bottle shape. For the

color theme, we will mostly stick to the iconic frost-white and apple-red, the only change will be with

the clear parts, for we shall replace the clear plastic with a more tinted, milky white plastic, so that

people can tell the difference between this product and normal Coca Colas’.

The manufacturing process will be based of the usual, plastic bottle. In fact, it will still use the

usual bottle, just with an injection molded plastic shell over it. This will allow the company to produce

this product using existing production-lines, molds, and equipment, making for greater cost efficiency

and therefor more income per sell, plus, kids don’t really care about high-end product containers.

The Snack Bottle:

These product is just plain fun. To keep it simple, it is a regular Coca Cola, except for a upper

section filled completely with snacks. The snacks may consist of trial mixes for some other thing the

company can invent. The lower section consists of a normal-sized Coca Cola Bottle, with a straw-like

tube which stretches through the upper section and into the mouthpiece, allowing for the consumer to

drink through the top cap. There will be another, larger cap around the main cap, which allows for

access to the snack-filled section.

The bottle will be made from high-grade industrial ABS synthetic plastic, which is extremely

durable. These will allow the purchaser to reuse the bottle as an everyday bottle after they are done

consuming the contents. The design of the bottle is similar to a sports bottle, with a semi-stretchy

inward curve down the middle, further allowing for continuous usage. The continuous usage will be

our main selling point.
