FORMING MOOT COURT TEAM:

The key is to form a good team. As a moot team requires a researcher

and two speakers the main aim should be to sort a team in which all
three people are equally involved in the task of memorial preparation.

The researcher shouldnt be burdened with all the research work related
to memorial preparation. All the three members should equally
contribute as this is a team effort.
Also after you have finalised your team members, read the moot
problem a zillion times till all the facts of the moot problem isn't at the
back of your hand.

Find suitable faculty who will also help you identify the main issues of the
moot problem and laws that are being involved in the matter. After all
this is done I guess a team is good to go with in-depth research and
analysis for the moot problem.

Read, re-read and analyse everything single line that you are writing in
your memorial. In the end after the memorial is complete and is ready
for submission get it consulted and proofread by a senior faculty or any
other experienced person in your view. I guess if you have selected the
right team and given your best effort to the whole task you will ace it for
sure. All the best.

For making a good memorial, first of all you will have to do some really
good research as that is the only way your memorial will be of some
weight in front of the judges.

Second don’t put vague arguments in the memorial just to make it look
bulky or lengthy as that creates a bad impression.
Third, cite relevant and important authorities. For e.g- if in a moot
problem of basic structure of constitution you didn’t cite Keshavanand
Bharti judgment then that shows your lack of research and then the
judges won’t spare you at any cost.

In the end good research is the key !
