Chapter three

1. Knowledge management has different impacts in the organization such as employee learning,
improving existing business process and the like. Use your slides and browse from Internet
about organizations which have implemented a KMS and gain some kind of benefits from their
implementation.
2. Write a short not on the impact of KMS on the organization.
3. Your assignment should not be greater than three or four pages (a maximum limit but not less
than one page)
4. Include the references you have used when you do this assignment. Your first page is the
assignment title, your name and instructor name.

4. KM Design
One way you design your knowledge management system is by developing a
concept map and then create a page for each nodes in the concept map. The
relationship between the concept map is used as hyper link
Knowledge is available everywhere. You can search from Internet and populate it.
Based on the following concept map, develop a knowledge management system
for data mining course that help students to easy learn data mining.
You develop your KM system using web development tools.
You do not need to fill all box. You can develop for boxes numbered 1 to 5 and for
one of the data mining methods like description or Classification, etc. or Each
group can take one data mining methods.
