Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle
East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). Coronavirus COVID-19 is a new strain that was
discovered in 2019 and has not been previously identified in human.Common signs of infection include respiratory
symtomes,fever,cough,shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.In more severe cases,infection can cause pneumonia,severe acute
respiratory syndrome and kidney failure.
Severe cases should be further investigated for Corona Markers (IL-6,Procalcitonin,D-Dimer,Serum Ferritin,Serum LDH,High Sensitive
CRP,High Sensitive Troponin I etc.) for better treatment outcome.
