ACADEMIC PROJECT:

Project title: ATM Usage for Physically challenged People.

Organisaton: BIET davanagere.
Software Used: Net Beans IDE 6.0.1, JAVA SWINGS, MySQL, SAMSUNG KIES.
Duration : 6 months.
Team size : 4 – members

Description : At present technology for money withdrawal through ATM requires ATM card
and password, any physically challenged person is not able to make till the ATM, then he
handovers ATM card to the other with the password & amount to be withdrawn. Sometimes
security of the ATM card may breaks because other can withdraw any desirable amount & may
cheat them, here ATM card holder couldn’t stop cheating. To overcome this, my project
enhances the security problem. Here ATM card holder directly interacts with the bank server
using an Interface. Mobile acts as an interface between Bank server & ATM card holder. We
have provided an option where the ATM card holder can restrict the withdrawal amount through
the interface by giving temporary password, if he tries to withdraw more money than restricted;
only the restricted amount is withdrawn. And also we can change the password by sending
message, we can check balance through mobile, lock/unlock the bank account.
