Misunderstanding at the airport

As I was getting on the airport, everything seemed to be going as planned. I was headed
to Canada with my friends from the theatre, and it was the best day in my life. As I was getting
closer to the airport I couldn’t hide my excitement and happiness.

Everything was fine until my plane tickets were checked and I was ready to go to the
baggage check. That’s when things went a little bit out of control. As I was standing in the line
with the rest of my friends, I saw an officer looking suspiciously at me. I didn’t thought anything
serious about that at that time.

Finally, it was my turn to do the baggage check. When I put my suitcase in the detector
line it started beeping. I was scared a little not thinking it would make me a big problem. The
officer who was standing there told me to step forward with my hands up, saying that he had to
check me. They found a little scissors in my suitcase ( not a big deal ). I probably forgot to take
them off.

After a while, the same officer came to me saying that I was looking suspicious and they
had to search me as well. They started to check every pocket on me and even asked me to take
off my shoes, saying I was carrying a bomb. I never felt more scared in my life. I was on the
edge of the tears. After not finding anything they let me join my group excusing themselves.

Needless to say, I had never been so relieved in my life. We had luck, because we came
earlier, so we catched out plane at time. After catching the second plane in Istanbul I almost
forgot about the misunderstanding that happened at our airport. I enjoyed my stay in Canada
and I visited a lot of places. Eventually it went better than I expected.
