A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SMALL VALUE PROCUREMENT (SVP) IN THE

PURCHASE OF GOODS NEEDED FOR THE RELIEF OPERATION OF TYPHOON AMBO
AMOUNTING TO ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED
TWENTY EIGHT PESOS & 82/100 (Php. 1,554,928.82).

WHEREAS, emergency purchase of goods is needed for the relief operation of Typhoon Ambo;

WHEREAS, in view thereof wherein action is very necessary for this Body, a Small Value Procurement
mode is hereby adopted in accordance with the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. 9184,
otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, under Article XVI as Alternative Method of
procurement, Sec 52, sub sec. (a) and (b) as amended;

NOW THEREFORE, We the members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) hereby resolve as it
is hereby resolved to allow SMALL VALUE PROCUREMENT (SVP) IN THE PURCHASE OF GOODS
NEEDED FOR THE RELIEF OPERATION OF TYPHOON AMBO AMOUNTING TO ONE MILLION
FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT PESOS & 82/100
(Php. 1,554,928.82).

RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVED to furnish copy of this BAC resolution to the office of the
Provincial Auditor, Catarman, Northern Samar;

APPROVED, this 11th day of May 2020 at San Jose, Northern Samar.
