Maze False Table Cut

Gene Maze
(Described by Gene)

1. The deck is face-down on the table with the long side facing you. (The other long side
is facing the spectator(s).

2. With the right hand, Pick up about a third of the deck and bring that hand in toward
the body. (Doesn't have to be brought in but I think it looks a little better.)

3. With the left hand, lift off approximately another third and place this third in front of
the cards remaining on the table. (Away from you.)

4. Now place the cards in the right hand on top of those cards you just cut.

5. Pickup the bottom third of the deck with the right hand and as you go to place them
on the combined two-thirds of the deck, with the right third finger, glide the bottom card
to the right causing that card to be end jogged. (I glide it approximately three quarters of
an inch).

6. Drop that bottom third on the deck but don't remove the hand. You will see that the
right hand will conceal the end-jogged card.

7. keep the heel of the right hand on the table and move the deck in toward you. Now
cup the left hand as well as the right hand and simulate a squaring-up action but in
doing so, the base of the right little finger hits the outer right corner of the end jogged
card and will cause that care to be in-jogged at the inner long end ( I guess if it's in-
jogged, it would be at the inner end).

8. Now pause if you wish, or take a sip of coffee or light a cigarette and then give the
deck a straight cut at the injured card but include the injured card. The deck is now in it's
original order.
