Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Maria Fulep. I am a qualified teacher from Hungary, currently working as a

childminder. I am writing to you because the school seems really appealing to me and I would be
more than happy to be able to hold a teacher assistant position there.

As you can see from my CV, I have acquired sound, theoretical knowledge and understanding of
child development via my degree. I have also attained practical experience throughout my
professional work with students aged 5-18 as an ESL teacher. I know that being Hungarian could
be a disadvantage in a native country but I truly believe that in today's globalised world it could
also be a benefit as my personal experience of growing up with English as a second language has
given me a better insight and understanding of the cultural needs of children from another
background. Besides, I feel strongly about equal opportunities in schools.

As for my personality, I consider myself to be creative, enthusiastic, initiative who can present a
team-player attitude when needed. I am organised and supportive as well. Besides, I am a patient
and fun teacher who tries to make learning an enjoyable experience.

I am sending my CV attached for your consideration as from the Sept term I really look forward
to working hard as part of a team to support children to enjoy their learning experiences and to
reach their full potential.
