Students Goals for Acute Care Clinical

1. My goals for this clinical practicum are: Develop communications skills in workings with
patients, their families and other healthcare providers. Demonstrate skill in the safe use of
therapeutic nursing interventions in providing care to patients.

2. I feel my clinical strengths are: I feel my strengths includes good communication skills, patience,
dependability and paying attention towards details.

3. The areas of clinical practice that I feel I need to strengthen (work on) are: problem solving skills
I need to work on.

4. Things I would like to experience and do during this practicum are: generally, observation and
documentations. Treat the practicum as an observational learning experience.

5. Activities and discussions that I think would be helpful in post conference are: feedback on the
basis of the whole shift through which individual can work on there weak point with the help of
instructor and provide care to the patient in positive and caring environment
