Along with the lessons and twisting endings.

Line by line are intricately crafted,
Elude us from reality to trudge the flamboyant world of fantasy.
I don’t know why I really wanted,
Diving into writing to express my deep feeling.
Overflowing love, hatred, anger, sneers and jeers of people discriminating,
Solitude where you can hear yourself inaudible in this physical
world,
Can only be felt when you unfold each pages of books.
Operated by your mind and heart shielding your soul from the
worlds chicanery.
Poetry indeed a powerful voice of the unheard, a freedom wall for all
Exploiting vicissitudes, deep feelings, with a cup of coffee, paper and pen
while watching the pellet of rain as it falls.
ANALYSIS
LET US THINK
Consider the questions below:

1. How often do you read or recite poem?

One of my hobbies is to read a poem. When I was in

Elementary and in High School, I felt my day wasn’t complete if I
can’t go to the library and read some poems. Now that lots of
stuffs to do either school related or personal life, I think once a
week only I can read poem and I just browse in the web. But
talking with poem recitation, I really had an immense experience
with it. I can still remember my first contest and it was poem
recitation, Filipino Category. That was when I’m in grade 1. I am
only fourth place in that time, and that was also the first time I
stood in front of multiple people and I cried after my performance
begging for my teacher to heed back home. Since that, I am always
chosen by the school to represent such event. When I embarked
into Junior and Senior High, I always make sure to allocate a few
minutes to read books and poems in the library. I am really
obsessed reading books before and collected some of it and time
pass by, our house seemingly like a library laden with books-old and
new. At home, I can read any time I want and even memorize
some of my favorite. During my leisure time, vacation or weekends,
the only break that I give to myself is either sleeping or reading.
Apart from my friends and family, reading poems is also my
shoulder to lean on. When I am so down, so weary about life,
about my future, my dream my failures. Poem uplift me. It always
reminds me to look at the positive side of life. To keep focused
and helps me find my purpose. That is how impactful a poem is to
someone’s life. We fall in love, broke and healed. And this is why I
love reading poem most of my time.
2. What makes a poem significantly different to other genres of
literature? Or are there differences among other genres of
literature? Elaborate.

Poem have significant differences among other genres of

literature, its types, how it was created, the style and the
overflowing creativity sashayed in every line. Poetry is hard to
depict what the writer intends to tell. Unless, you’re a good friend
of the author. Unlike with short story for example, should be vivid
to help readers understand the plot, theme and other elements.
You can also create poetry by just expressing what you feel at the
moment. It covers fiction, non-fiction and amplify vices unheard
voices and address societal issues afflicting a country. Other genres
of literature also denote such reality. It helps us better appreciate
life, to love one another, establish trust, unity and accept
differences. Poetry has the ability to transmogrify our worst into
something adorable, inspirational and worth sharing. Poetry is the
expression of life, an escapist and hearing the voice of the unheard.
It can be with meter, free verse, quatrain can change lives and
perspectives. From pessimist to optimist. It is fun reading and
lessons laden.
